Quick trip from the Okanagan to Calgary

Post by trialsmaster2 »

This past weekend we packed up the Delica and drove myself, my wife, my sister-in-law and our pup from the Okanagan out to Calgary. It was a fun trip and the Delica handled it well...a little slow on the uphills, but that's to be expected :-)

On the Saturday, Sean arranged a backroads route to drive about 40 minutes outside of Calgary near Bragg Creek, if memory serves me correctly. We stuck mainly to the main roads and occasionally would take side roads to see where they'd lead. One of these side roads lead to this nice look out.

Hope you enjoy the photos! I'll hopefully be able to add a few more photos that Sean took, once he gets them off his camera.

The Delica makes a pit stop in Field, BC...this time it's the puppy that needs a bathroom break

The Delica takes in the wonderful view. Was it ever cold and windy up there! No snow yet though.

There I go with HDRs again...Chalan driving over the bridge on the way back to the main forestry road we were on.
