It's ok, you don't need glasses, dimming lights seemed to be the only thing missing, apart from cupholders!

Although detailed in the schematics, the dimmer seems to be an option none of us got. There is no dimmer.

I changed my dash to a slightly dimmer level with blue and red LEDs (sorry I don't have a picture that does the view justice). There are six bulbs in there, and there is a thread detailing how to open the dash in order to get at them.

Seems like the US 2wd version had dimmer light, the switch was beside the cigarette lighter... Might be why it's on the schematic.

Well there's one for the 2wd! The non-existent dimmer switch was one of the first things I looked for. Ah well, the dash-light isn't as annoyingly bright as some rides I've driven. My old Nissan truck had bits of black tape covering the 4x4 indicator light and esp. the ultra bright high-beam blue. It had a dimmer for the main lamp though :M :-D

I'm glad I did a search before I asked this dumb question. I've looked for @ least half and hour. I couldn't believe I couldn't find the dimmer. Now I know why?

Thanks for the post.

lol, don't worry, I spent a while at a gas station tracking down my trim-coloured winshield washer tank when I first got monochrome.
