I went to pull the drive shaft to the transfer case today to take it in to get new joints put in,ive done this before but ive never had gear oil come out like it did when pulling it from its sleeve? when i did it before on my old truck it was splined,not the case this time,i was hopping to pull it and take it in so i could still drive around.My question is will i need to dump the gear iol ,or can i get some kind of a cap to stop the flow for the time being. 5 speed manual.
