By the time you realize that my signature has no real message or life altering words of wisdom, you're too far into it to stop reading until you are finished

Re: VW Westfalia 1990
I have a westy interior but to put it in a Delica will make everything very cramped.
Delica interior is a shorter lengthwise and a few inches narrower from middle to top roof inside.
But it's doable.

Re: VW Westfalia 1990
In addition to the different interior dimensions, given that the VW is LHD and the sliding door is on the other side, wouldn't it all be reversed, further making an installation problematic?

Not really. You can effectively mount the sink/combo cabinets on the driver's side.
Regardless. I measured it all and it's just too much cabinetry and wasted space for a Delica. For my taste.
My cabinets will be narrow/tall and laid out matching the gear we'll take on our trip.
I've got a syncro I'm converting to a westy syncro.
If I was to keep it, I would redo the interior. Not hacking the westy interior. Just that I would have designed the cabinets differently.
