MM
If you can't find it, call or visit a Chrysler parts dept. Ask for the part number for a 83-85 dodge ram 2.3 litre diesel heater core number. It's a long shot but they might use the same heater core seeing as they used the same diesel engine (4d55). If the part number is a MDxxxx number you can order it from a Mitsu dealer. Failing that try John at Rocky Mtn, Mardy or the others.
Mardy is parting out a delica right now.

How did you come up with that handle?? I know mean has other meanings but??

Meanman,

Is yours leaking?

If its because you have hot air blowing into the cab that is a tad warmer than a popcorn fart, then I'd replace the thermostat first. Do the cheap stuff first.
As soon as mine was switched , the temp went up , not only in the cab, but the temp gauge actually moved off the low lines.

I have a book or two that you can borrow to read up on . Plus spare print outs on the engine, axles n stuff.

I always get told I look pissed off !! I say "its just how my face sits!!"

Temp guage reads close to mid way once warm. so I don't think its the stat. I flushed rear heater core and gott good heat there now. but front is still lacking.....so I attempted to flush front out and actually lost the little heat I was getting at the front. Going to give 'er a good go tonight. I noticed that my front rubber heater lines actually had an inner "skin" of rust when I tapped into them to install flush fittings........yaay! Another night of laying outside on the ground in a cold puddle of Delica piss!! Just like beong back in the army!!

After a real good flushing .......AGAIN.....it appears I have heat. I'll probably change the t-stat anyway to be safe.
