Those "Missing Link" shackles are scary! They unload the weight transfer too fast! Definitely not for street use. And they aren't great off road neither. The suspension drops but the contact pressure is only the weight of the axle and the wheel/tire. I had them on my old suk for a week and sold them right the way.

good to hear the opinion of someone that has used them, I will look forward to hearing from others as well, it's all pretty irrelevant to me though as they cost more than $1.00 :)

Agreed. These style of shackle work for crawling, but not more. Would be scary in these vans on street in a hard braking situation.......huge endo I would think.

I think they have pins to lock them down when on road.
