Post by Brandelica Winnipegger »

Hello,

My wife took the van through the automatic car wash and it attacked the rear nameplate panel. Please see photo attached. Please advise. 1993 Delica super exceed

So you're finding the replacement of your choice and the proprietors of the car wash are going to pay for it and all shipping costs incurred, right?

I have never taken my van to an automated car wash because I was concerned about the mirrors, but the name plate? How the hell did the car wash take the name plate off?

the plastic clips get brittle and the rubber grommets wear down over time.

just take them out and replace them. bolts back on like new.

all of my delica's were leaking back there into the tailgate.

just took them off and replaced them.

lordco or any parts store will have them. they're generic clips/grommets

once you get your new one, replace the clips and grommets

they cost under $2 for all of them and the panel will be snug = no leaks. :M
