I recently flew from Vancouver to Toronto and watched "Body of Lies" - which prominently features (at one point) Leo Di Caprio being smuggled from Jordan into Syria's Dara'a region on board a Delica....

As I have been to Syria, Jordan and Lebanon many times over the past four years the only thing believable was the Delica (there are tons and tons of Delica's Hiace's and similar other Japanese and Korean vans in these countries)... but the Dara'a area of Syria and the border crossing in the movie looks very different from what I saw (I actually did the trip in a taxi about two years ago from Damascus across Dara'a border point into Amman in Jordan... the film didn't look familiar with my memories at all....)

But still some fun stuff watching a Delica on the big screen... although the movie was pretty weak in my opinion....

Makes sense since the mid-east portions of the film were shot in Morocco.
