Deli Meet Monday 13 April 2009, 6pm Burnaby McDonalds Willingdon just north of Lougheed.
Reason: Erebus from Calgary is in town for a few days, and wants to meet other delicii owners, and put faces to names. Fred drove to Inuvik last summer from Calgary via Vancouver, you can see his interesting posts online from that trip.
See you all there. Christine.
By the way, Fred is checking the computer often while he's here, so feel free to PM him.

I just saw you two driving around my neighborhood :) you wouldn't have recognized us though, we were on mopeds :)
I hope some people make it to the meet, unfortunately I don't think I can last-minute. Doing some mountain biking and meeting folks for dinner.

I was on the road over the weekend.
Saw a couple of Delicas in the Cariboo on Highway 97, and a resident Delica in Quesnel, with the owner's S-Cargo parked right next to it. Lots of deer wandering around, and the ice is starting to break up on Williams Lake.
I also saw an Isuzu Elf flatbed with a Honda Acty pickup on the back on the Coquihalla. Snowing like mad from Kamloops to Merritt, but nice the rest of the way to Hope. Gumdrop handled the Coquihalla with her usual efficiency.
Even without accidents Port Mann is a mess on holiday Mondays, so I left Quesnel late, had supper in Chilliwack, and hit the bridge approach about 8:30. Didn't even slow down
. Beats the usual backup to 200th Street...
