Going to CVI today

Post by phunka »

Yup! I'm pretty excited. It's been along time coming, and I'll be meeting a potential seller at the shop this afternoon. If everything checks out, and I feel good about it, I'm ready to make the purchase!!

it's a 92 Exceed, crystal lite roof, 11Xkm (his daily driver), seems to be in pretty good shape, the little bit i have drove it already.

I guess there are two CVI auto's, one in richmond (the good guys) and one on 1st street east in vancouver. I called the second place first, and was discouraged to hear "we dont work on those anymore"...Then I put two and two together, and found Butch and Edwin! Just talking to them on the phone was pleasant, so I feel like I'm in good hands so far.

wish me luck

Best of Luck! Let us know how it all goes. I was ready to buy a few months back but then lost my job. I finally found another one and I start tomorrow. So maybe if I think and wish and hope and pray, it might come true; I might be able to buy again in few months.

Thanks guys, it went pretty good. Some work is needed on the van, but that was reflected in my final price, so I can't say I was surprised.

The brake pads need to be replaced, and perhaps the full brake package. Trans, and rear-diff fluids need to be changed, but will likely just start fresh and replace all fluids. Air/fuel filters, Valve cover gasket also need to be replaced.

going to try and get it in to the shop this week.

One question I should have asked Butch, the price list he has, for the Delica/Pajero, does the price include parts & labor?
