I saw that one at the auction. Nice buy.:D I like the lift on that one. The one I bought was also at the auctions and I saved the pic and look at everyday. I try not to look at the calendar to much. Start planning the trips you will take it on. It will make time go faster 8)

thanks, i love it, my broker over there is a freind from when he went to school here and is taking it to his house for me and taking lots of big meg picts , I'm sure this will torment me for a while but I got my surf in under a month so im hopefull this will be here soon, I'm going with a mixed load container. This Delica has 2"upgraded exhaust and all sorts of little things like that, It went up at auction a couple weeks ago but the seller would not take the highest bid , so it sat for a couple and the other night it went and I think I stole it. Will post more this week when I get more picts. Im thinking of putting the group buy of headlights into the delica in japan to get the shipping costs down on that stuff. ...but thats getting into a whole other tangent lol

thanks, I really like this one, and am planing to keep it for my self. Have many plans for it. Intercooler. upgraded turbo. undercoating, rear and passenger mounted min cameras. Been kicking around the idea of a pop top roof on one, i like the bongo's and westfailia tops. but maybe not for this one. will have to see once Its actually in my "can't leave well enough alone" hands
Will post more picts this coming week :D :D 8)

while a pop-top roof may not be a bad idea... I don't think I'd want to try it on a vehicle that has a crystal-lite roof... maybe that would be better tried on a "standard" roof Deli (either low or high roof)

I was looking at those picts and really like that he did it himself. I am thinking of a westfalia roof lifts from back to front. sure would be nice if someone offered a nice kit for doing this,, does anyone know of any sites that show the different things they have done with the interior? I have a good friend that is an alumanum fabricator and I'm thinking of getting a nice full roof rack with built in lights, dot compliant of course.... but am not sure what to do with the inside, I dont have kids, and am very outdoorsy. so its tough to think of Just one thing I want to do to it lol

ok... I had seen that post before, but had not noticed that he started with a crystal lite roof... I suppose I stand corrected... (though personally if I was planning to remove the roof anyway, I would have chosen a simple high-roof rather than the crystal lite)
