ball joints and tie rod ends part numbers re Lordco

Post by torchard »

I know there's some reference to this on this site, but can someone tell me simply what part number or make/model I could ask Lordco to use in order to find tie rod ends and ball joints (upper/lower) on my '91 l300? Thanks.

i took you title (minus the lordco) "ball joints and tie rod ends part numbers" and plugged it into the search bar... here's the result.

http://www.delica.ca/forum/delica-parts ... html#p2673

Ball Joints - ADC 48652 Lower/ADC 48614 Upper

Tie rod ends
Pedders TE 715R
Tie-rod end (Inner& outer are the same) - MB527650

Take those numbers to Lordco, I would assume they are right. Search function next time?

As I thought, Lordco could reference the M series tied rod ends but had nothing for the ball joints.

BTW the Moog number quoted for the tie rod ends is ES3044RL.

the upper ball joints are not available here at all, they are special order out of japan. and chances are they are shot, I have yet to see a van come in that the upper ball joints did not have to be replaced. even if the van passes inspection, if you take out the ball joint, it just flops around...

Thanks all. In contrast to a previous post on this thread, parts availability does not appear to be an issue. Was able to secure all through John at Rocky Mtn.

Nice job, John always comes through doesnt he? Did you by chance take the newly aquired part to Lordco to see if they could cross it to something local for next time? If so could you please post the numbers. Thanks.

Josh.
