Re: Turbo timer
Thanks, I have one idea that I haven't tried. I just thought of it and I'm not near the van..... maybe the handbrake needs to be on? Duh.
I'll try when I get home and if that doesn't work, expect a call!
It's a FET TB 307

Re: Turbo timer
I have never seen a turbo timer that did not require the handbrake to be on... so yes, that's quite likely.maybe the handbrake needs to be on? Duh.
In fact my turbo timer the hand brake and brake pedal are the only input, if, when you turn off the ignition, the hand brake is on, and the pedal is not being touched it will automatically assume you want the turbo timer to run for 2 minutes. (if you don't want it to run, simply touch the brake pedal)

Re: Turbo timer
I ripped mine out and hucked it in the garbage. It was working at times when I didn't want it to, and never worked when I did want it. I was at the Indy Moto GP last month and got a call from my girlfriend who was driving it in Edmonton- it wouldn't shut off! And her having zero mechanical skills meant a 65$ tow truck visit to shut it off for her.
I would never have bought one for myself- it came with the truck. Easy enough to let the vehicle run for a minute if needed. Popular gadget with the boy-tuner crowd.

Re: Turbo timer
ive been driving a delica for just over a year now. i got my brain wired to let it run for a minute after a long drive. so if'n you can remember to let it run, a tt is a waste of cash
