Have you used this oil Filter ?

Hi!,

I currently have a 94 Pajero with 2.8 engine.

the only filter i was able to get was the Fram PH8936 so i used this with the Rotella T 15w-40 OIL. I am due for an oil change in about 1000 km. I still have a spare Fram filter ( i do oil change every 5K) now i found another filter made by Donaldson "P502008" in replacement of the Fram. It is 10$ more.

Is this filter better than the fram? if i change my oil every 5K would this benefit? should i push the oil change let say at 7K intervals? I was also thinking of switching to a synthetic blend of 15w-40.

There are many different filters that will fit your Delica, and they are all of decent quality. You will find Fram, Luberfiner, Purolator, Napa/Wix and others that will work fine.

The oil filter is designed to last 10,000 km, so it is up to up whether or not you want to change it with every oil change.
