Coachella music and arts festival, Indio, CA

Well, I didn't end up going to mexico because i'm moneyless, but I did manage to make it as far as indio, (20 miles east of palm springs) for my yearly music fix. This was my 3rd year at coachella, and it was amazing as usual. Don't have many pictures of the van, but it did the 5000km round trip without even blinking, although I would prefer if she had a slightly higher cruising speed.

A little off topic but equally important, the show was amazing. You can see a list of bands at http://www.coachella.com

here is the only picture I got of the van, filling up at a truck station. it looks a little small out there

Heres a band called pop levi, I had never heard of them but they were really good.

I think this is a picture of fields, or some other band ha

Amazing Canadian DJ duo by the name os MSTRKRFT

A picture looking out of the electro tent... best sound system at the festival for all the DJ sets.... also where madonna was last year... that was strange.

Kings of Leon.... wicked band

A small fraction of The Arcade Fire. Absolutely phenomenal show. They were at Coachella 2 years ago and blew my mind, they are back with a new record and absolutely amazing. Picture quality sucks, had to crank up the iso because it was very dark.

Kaiser Chiefs, music is fun, I'm not crazy about the front mans on stage persona, he seemed to be drowning in a sea of people not responding to his repeated attempts for applause.

And now my favorite of the show, and one of the most indredible bands ever... Placebo.

I got way too excited just seeing this

The Amazing Mr. Molko

And this man has amazing stage presence. Seriously I've never enjoyed someone on stage as much as him.

Thats all I have, I have more of just about every band I saw but I figured I'd keep it short.... relatively.

Yeah. Chamonix made the trek very well though, people down south had never seen such a contraption.
