Request - How to replace rear brakes

Post by snelson »

Hi guys - I wonder if I could be so bold to request if someone would post DIY steps and pics on replacing rear brake shoes? I was able to find lots of good stuff regarding replacing front brake pads. but coming up empty for rear brake shoe replacement DIY.
Man, I can't believe how easy it was to do the fronts, both replaced in probably 40 minutes thanks to delica.ca :-D :M :M !!

Thanks and cheers to all

Well, no thanks to you basement nerds  :-D found a link to a Russian Delica site, with a link to an English shop manual that covers replacing rear brake shoes.
The manual is actually for the L400, but at least it gives me some reference.....

Link to entire manual (scroll down to second post) http://www.delicaclub.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=917

Link to specifically rear brake shoe replacement http://delica.107net.ru/L400/CHASSIS/PW ... SIS_35.pdf

Hopefully it works out for me and I'll take some pics and post some tips if possible for the 300 crowd.
