Deli owner wannabe

Post by sashasmom »

Hi all you lucky Delica owners! I'm still looking for my "dream van" - I knew I wanted one the first time I saw one "in person" about a month ago. I've been looking on the internet ever since and would appreciate any suggestions or advice. Japanese dealer or auction? Anyone know of any good auction sites that don't come up when you google "Japan auto auction" I appreciate any input. Thanks. Patty

Hi Patty,
We are also looking for our deli and my thinking is, if you can find one you like and is physically viewable, have it inspected and buy it on the spot...no hoping it looks like the picture when it gets off the boat.

I found mine at usedvictoria.com.

A few days ago there were 3 for sale.

Good luck

I have taken a leap of faith and gone the import way. I just purchased a 1990 Turbo Diesel with 117,000 km from Japan Auto Direct. Some friends of mine just went through the import process on their own, and they are going to walk me through it.
