Wheel Stud

Post by wetcoast »

Does anyone know a Mitsubishi or similar part number? Looking for a wheel stud + lug nut. One lug was cross threaded and the stud snapped.

Re: Wheel Stud

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I asked at 2 Lordco's and a Kal Tire today for an 88 Montero stud and none of them had the vehicle on file. Nor for that matter did they have a Mighty Max or a Dodge raider in their books. It turns out that the studs on my Mighty Max have been replaced with newer ones which are the same as the L300's. Unfortunately I can't find out what the proper size is (I thought I had one that worked but it ended up only going on part way before the beat-up stud tore up the threads). I'm thinking I might just replace the studs and the lugs to be on the safe side. Any ideas on how difficult this procedure is, how much it would cost (roughly) and where I could buy new studs for the Delica from?
Thanks

PS. The Mighty Max originally came with 1.5X12 and it looked like the new ones were 0.5X20 but it doesn't seem like either of those sizes are working. I was going to take off my lug to have it measured but the guys I talked to all said that they couldn't make any guarantees. I've tried 4 different sizes but none seem to have worked.
