SOLD

This is by far one of the cleanest and nicely modified L400's I've seen to date.

It needs absolutely nothing.

This week up in Whistler it was down to -3 Celcius and it started up on the first crank.

It's a very hard decision to part with this as it's really the most refined JDM we've owned but our priorities have been re-arranged, hence the sale.

Not often enough !

But I do like to try out vehicles to see what we like.

So far if we could have only two vehicles in our stable, Turtle would be my pick and our first Pajero would be Maryna's pick. In between is the Spacegear. She's just too intimidated by it's size/length.

I've got a SWB I'm picking up next week and we'll see how that is driving around.

For us, it's mix between cost/comfort/reliability and so far it's a toss up between the last 3 we've had.

I wish we could keep them all. :-D

Didn't you already have a SWB? I'm sure you already know how they drive 8-)
But keep doing your business, the rest of us are enjoying these nice trucks regularly coming for sale! :-D

How much longer is the LWB?

I am in the market for a Space Gear and was thinking I'd have to import one as I haven't found one to my liking here. I've driven both the L300 and the L400 SWB and although I'm a big fan of the L300 (for nostalgic reasons related to my former Westfalias) I've decide the L400 fits my needs much better. How do you feel driving the LWB compared to the other Delica's you've owned?

I'd be interested in seeing/driving your Space Gear so I can see if it is the right vehicle for me. I'll try giving you a call when I'm off work this afternoon.

Thanks,
Shane

You think you could stuff 33's on there with the lift it has? Very nice ride.

HI Jesse:
Have you sold it yet? The red guy with the horns and trident who sits on my left shoulder keeps bugging for more power. How
does it stack up in the fuel mileage department?

You can fit 33's with the right rim/offset. 32's would look more comfortable. I like the 31's though. Much better tire selection. 8-)

Deposit accepted.

Fuel mileage :

It's mixed with Turtle (L300). Averaging 11-12 L / 100km depending on how I drive. Best was 10L/100km worst was 14L/100km with my foot to the floor down the I-5 against a major headwind doing 130+ with 6 adults and lots of gear.

Good mileage. Think the larger exhaust/tuned engine makes it work for the LWB.

Thanks Jesse,

I'm really looking forward to taking this baby home with me. This vehicle is in fantastic shape, the photos don't really do it justice.

Thanks so much,
Shane

Hey......we are allowed by law to sell 5 vehicles a year !! i don't think Jesse has done that yet !! If i could talk the wife into letting me change vehicles i would do the same thing. All in the hunt for the right vehicle.I think i will go nissan safari or L400 lwb or toyota land cruiser next..... So many options !!
