'91 L300 Super Exceed, White, $2500, ****SOLD****

Post by Green1 »

***** SOLD *****

Vehicle Specifics
Make: Mitsubishi
Model: Delica
Year: 1991
Mileage: 150K
Engine: 4D56 (2.5L)
Gas/Diesel/Propane/other: Diesel
Turbo: Yes
Transmission: Automatic and 4 wheel drive
Price: $2500
Location of Vehicle: Calgary

Exterior condition:
Color: White
Rust: minor surface rust on bull bars and front bumper
Scratches: a few minor ones
Paint Condition: front bumper and bull bar have been re-painted, but some surface rust is poking through, also re-painted a small section beside the sunroof when I patched some rust there, paint doesn't quite match in that location.
Windshield and other glass: minor crack in windshield, not in driver's way, but may need to be repaired for OOP
Wheels: damage to front driver's side wheel, and that tire is dead
Missing/broken trim pieces: missing the mitsubishi plastic bull-bar cover (I personally think it looks better this way anyway) the side steps aren't on the vehicle, however they are included in the sale.

Interior condition:
Rips or Tears: no
Cracking: no
Smoked in: not in Canada, was obviously smoked in in Japan, however no smoke smell
Steering wheel: factory stock, good condition
Shifter: no problems here
Broken features (i.e. window switches, A/C, Radio, etc..): 2 of the power sunshades don't work, it is however a relatively easy fix. (I can link to the instructions if you want)

Compliance Status:
OOP passed (If yes, what province, if no, why not): yes, in both BC and Alberta
DOT or Compliant Headlights?: yes
Properly stamped glass (AS1, AS2...): yes
Side markers: yes
Proper headlight aim: yes
3rd brake light: yes

Factory Options:
- Airconditioning, has been retrofitted to r134a and blows cold
- power locks
- power front windows
- front fog lights
- crystal-lite roof with power sun shades and fluorescent light
- "cool-box" refrigerator/freezer/food warmer between front seats
- 4x4
- Limited slip rear differential
- middle row captains chairs swivel and slide for many configurations
- altimeter and inclinometer
- hand throttle
- premium sound system (head unit has been replaced with a new Kenwood deck with line inputs and MP3 CD capabilities)
- curtains on side and rear windows
- cold weather package with higher output alternator and dual batteries

General Vehicle information:
The vehicle will require some work (hence the low asking price) and does not currently run. The vehicle will require a new crankshaft pulley as well as the "key" that holds it in place on the crankshaft, beyond that there was some starting difficulty and an oil leak, These could be minor or major and I don't really know.
For someone with some mechanical ability this could be a chance to pick up a Delica for cheap if they are willing to put some work in to it. If however you are looking for a "turn key solution" this isn't your ride.
When the crankshaft pulley failed and I lost power steering I hit a curb pretty hard, as a result the vehicle will also require a new front driver's side tire and possibly rim (it's chewed up, but it may still hold a tire, hard to say without trying) I am not aware of any other damage, however I wouldn't be surprised if an alignment is in order.
Comes with all Canadian maintenance records, Form 1, and proof of OOP in both AB and BC

Pictures:
I apologize that I wasn't able to drive through a car-wash first, however here are the pictures I have available... Additional Pictures are available here

sorry, no trades. I have a new vehicle already, I don't need an extra one. and my girlfriend would really appreciate it if I didn't take up quite so much of the parking space behind our house...

So basically you want the Delica for nothing??? He could sell a few parts off that thing and make more money than you are offering.

unfortunately, the cost of towing to Vancouver is likely significant, and lowering the price in addition would pretty much mean I was paying to get rid of it, I'm certainly not to that point yet.
