Hi everybody. I'm a Californian about to make a move up to Vancouver for a 2 - 3 year work opportunity starting in May. Spent two years in Japan back in '02 - '04 and that's when I first experienced the Delicas. I thought that they were the most freakin' awesome vehicles that I'd ever seen and was VERY disappointed that I couldn't import one to the US.
Well, now that I'll be in Canada for a few years, I figure it's time to get one of these beasts. I'm hoping that you all will be able to offer some help/advice with that.
I'm looking to buy from a dealer rather than import on my own. Any recommendations for one in the greater Vancouver area? I've seen Amazing Auto Imports as well as Silk Road Autos, but I'd imagine that there are more. Both places also service vehicles, which is essential for me since I'll have neither the time nor know how to do so myself.
And experiences/tips/etc that you all can share would be MOST appreciated. Thanks a TON!!!

hey! youre stoked! youre one of the few lucky gringos that gets to live in canada long enough to have a delica and bring it home!
when you get here, look around at the dealers and dont be afraid of the private sellers.
have a look here too:
