Reading some posts about gas consumption and mileage I realized that the tank on my van might be smaller than it's supposed to be. I've fueled a couple of times and I've bought around 40~45 lts of diesel, so I'm guessing the tank should hold about 50~55 tops... and according to the posts it should be about 65 lts or more.
Does anyone know the measurements of the original tank in a Super Exceed Deli? I'd like to check it against mine and verify if my theory is correct. I'm thinking the owner in Japan might have changed the tank for a newer / smaller one.
Thx...
Fabio,

I managed to squeeze 69L in to mine once, but I had been running with the little orange light on for far longer than I'm comfortable with...
I think the tank must be around 70L... I personally find the tank a little small for this vehicle, if I were designing a vehicle with this economy I would have put an 80-90L tank in it... but that's just me...
I plan to (at some point) add a custom tank to extend my range, but for now I just keep an eye on the gauge...

Re: Fuel tank measurements...
75l. and there is actually 2 tanks which work together... cool, And i agree, you can go long with the fuel light on but i have been told it is wise to not let diesels get too low on fuel, H2o and everything else nasty to your engine lurks in the bottom of the tank.

Hi, Fabio,
Probably you have a 5 speed transmission delica super exceed, on manual transmission as far as i know it only comes with 1 tank compare to auto transmission which has 2 tank on it. check in the bottom how many tanks you got. its easy to find under the middle door, just beside middle side step door.
hope this help:

I'm in the same boat, though I have a manual tranny. I've only filled over 40 L a couple times, so my tank is definitely not in the 75 L range. Range has never been a problem, but I am a little envious of those with the bigger tanks ;)
