What did santa bring your Deli.

Post by garyo »

Hope everyone had a happy holiday.

just wanted to show off a couple cool new additions to my van.
My sweetie gave me a magellan roadmate gps map system.
best present ever.

my present to myself is a set of small fender flares.
I bought these off a cool guy a while back. ( thanks Chad )
just finished putting them on.

post up any new goodies you got. :-)

Happy new year everyone

That's a gorgeous van.
All I got was a new battery heater since the old one burned out already >8^(

I got myself an Eclipse AVN4430 stereo with detachable navigation unit. (ok, I was a bit early, but I couldn't wait!)
My girlfriend got me a Yaesu FT-8900R Quad Band Transceiver (Ham radio for those who glazed over earlier in the sentence)
Santa got me a velociraptor (long story, when I bought my first car I found a plastic dinosaur under the passenger seat, and put it on the dash, ever since then the people around me decided that every new vehicle I get has to have a new dinosaur to go along with it)

And my friend Erebus was thoughtful enough to give me more stuff to fix on the Delica when the interior handle for the sliding door came off in his hand... (sure... the screw might have been missing before he touched it, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to blame him anyway! )

I'm quite willing to swap my time & effort & materials to fix it, in exchange for the FT-8900. Would not only save you the time to install the screw, it would save you the effort of installing the FT-8900, buying and installing the antenna, and all the wiring involved in that.

That's how good a friend I am!

You know, and I just didn't think those kind of friends existed any more.
