Transmission Work

Post by shannon »

Hey,

Wanting to get my transmission checked (91). Just maintenance. Had Pajero two years. Runs great, love it, want to keep it happy. Wondering if anyone has a place they go to? I live in Langford. Also my lights on the four wheel select in the dash flash sometimes then go out?? Loose wire? Everything seems fine.

Thanks for any tips,

Shannon

Langford on the Island? If so I would consider a pleasant drive up the Malahat to CC Autos in Coombs. If you are on the Mainland then CVI, for one.
Hope this helps :-D !

I had a rebuild recently through Victoria Transmission and very happy with the work and their communications and would recommend them. The internals of these transmissions are common so no reason they can't do the work. (With all due respect to Glen and crew at CC Autos!) Having said that, step lightly into any big work as it gets costly fast.

The transmission in a Pajero shouldn't be too 'scary' for a shop if you tell them it was the same one in a Mitsubishi Montero from the same time period (if I understood jfarsang correctly).
