seat removal

Post by rdub »

how difficult is it to remove the captains seats in the back if i wanted to use it for the weekend as sleeping area is there any moving parts in the tracks i should be aware of when pulling them out.
I am stable in most situations that I have no reservations in stormy conditions.

It's quite easy, just remove the 4 14mm nuts and lift, but lift with your legs - those chairs are heavy. They go in as easy too, but make sure the track is lined up between the runners before bolting it down. You can also remove the track the seats ride on, but I don't bother, just put the nuts back on the protruding bolts and you don't notice it through a thick mattress.
