I have just ordered a locking ski box for the top of the deliberator. I am also looking for an open cargo basket for the other half of the top of the van. it would be up to 2 feet-ish in width and would like it to be the same length as the box, which is around 220cm. I have seen a Delica around Vernon with this same set-up, I have talked with the dude before but he is out of town for 2 months so im S.O.L.
Any information on where i could track down such a product?
Cheers,
Chris.

Re: roof rack questions
Hi Chris, assume this is for your L300. Are you back in town from skiing now?
Have you thought about just mounting a 2 foot wide plywood box with short little edges (painted to protect it from all the moisture) that you tie a canvas roof bag to? It might be expensive to get a 2 foot wide basket custom welded.
Maybe look at the ATV racks (ie the basket that fits behind an ATV trailer hitch to carry dead deers etc), Princess Auto.ca has lots of that stuff.
Racks for pajero don't fit L300, paj roof is a few inches narrower. I got one thinking I could modify it, but its still sitting in the basement as couldnt find metal bars to fit inside its channel. But its still almost 4 feet wide at the narrowest side, so that wont work.
Christine.
