Hello,
I would like to know if anyone there knows of or has heard of sales of japan to canada imports coming into the US. I would really like to learn all I can about this process, and then look into buying one. I just don't want to start down this road of anticipation and excitement only to have it end in disappointment. I have seem many cars on ebay for sale in canada (mostly BF40's, and 60's) sell to US buyers. If it is titled in Canada, can it be titled in the US.
Thank You,
Delica imports/sales to the US

Re: Delica imports/sales to the US
Importing a vehicle from Japan to Canada does not in any way help in the process of getting it in to the US. Importing a Japanese vehicle to the US from Canada will be just as difficult as bringing it directly to the US from Japan (or harder because you have to deal with the Canadian process as well as the US one)
I don't think very many people here are familiar with all of the details of the US import procedure beyond that some significant modifications to the vehicle are usually required for anything under 25 years of age, there are importers in the US who specialize in this sort of thing, might be best to talk to one of them about the process.
