Assinboine and Silk Road motors

Post by 1Ton_Bronco »

Hi, does anyone have experience with either? if so, after you bought, did you have any issues and were they good on their 6 month warranty?

Thanks

I test drove the while L300 at Assisniboine a month or so ago, the 5 speed. The guys seemed nice, honest. I still haven't bought a van though. So I don't know how much that helps.

But this might: http://www.delica.ca/forum/kudos-to-ass ... -8198.html

I just bought an L300 last week from Silk Road, there was a problem with the alternator which took out the vehicle within 3 hours of me driving it off the lot. I was able to get ahold of Karim (the owner of Silk Road) on the first phonecall at about 9:30 at night, and he showed up the next day with an L400 loaner car for me to drive while they fixed mine. It's been running fine for the past week and I think the alternator was just a fluke (as I'd had CVI inspect the vehicle before I bought it and even they didn't catch the problem). Also, this last Thursday Karim called up to check how the van was running. So far I'm very impressed with their service.

Seeing as this thread is picking up as a conversation about Dealer Feedback, Beefs and Bouquets.... I moved it.
