Hi there,
My trannie has a hard time shifting out of first these last few mornings.
I've checked the trans fluid on a hot motor and it was past the hot mark.
If this is the case and I've been running it on an over-filled trannie, what kind of damage am I looking at?
Anybody got some experience with this?
I'd love to hear about it!
yo peace, deliman

I have no experience with the tranny problems your having, but have you changed you transmission fluid and filter? Consider a full service of your tranny, the 100 bucks or so it'll cost is pretty small compared to the cost of a full rebuild. I'm not very mechanical, but a full transmission service, including new diff fluids, really put alot of life into the running gear of my old Toyota with over 380,000 km on the clock. The LSD fluid made the LSD actually work again and the tranny shifted much smoother; and progressively. A tube of LSD fluid put life into our family Delica recently also.
Hope this helps a bit.
Cheers,
Kev
