L400 was going straight at 100 kph on a highway and the red sedan was trying to make a left turn on the intersection from behind 2 big rigs with trailers. The Delica driver managed to slow down to 65 km and hit the red car. The ditch on the right side was 2 m deep, so that was not an option. The L400 ended on the left side with the engine still running. The driver, his wife in the front seat and the child fastened to the captain chair are fine, no injuries. The sedan driver hit the head against the pillar but he is ok too. Damage to the Delica under the hood include the expansion coolant tank, radiators, and AC fans. The bush bar was a big help directing much of the force to the bottom end. The cops were watching the accident from the gas station nearby. The suggestions from other delicaclub.ru drivers: next time hit the bonehead harder!
