Hazard and rear wiper panel

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Hazard and rear wiper panel

Post by Super Exceeded »

Before I start prying with a screw driver, is there a trick to removing the small panel that holds these two switches?

Also, how does one remove the cigerette lighter?
THX in advance

Ya, pry with a screwdriver. :? Remove the switches first... I can't remember if the panel is held in with screws, but the switches are snap-fit.

Cigarette lighter (just did this one in Artacoma's ride): take out the ashtray, reach around to the back and unscrew the ring that hold the lighter chassis in place. You can't spin the ring (because of the wire attached to it), so you have to spin the lighter chassis, and yes that's a bit of a trick. Or you could just rip it out like we did.

Is this where you're going to put the after-axle-drive-engage switch?
