I ended up buying a little adaptor kit for about $9 at Canadian Tire (after one blade fell apart in the ass end of nowhere up on Vancouver Island), and drilled a single hole in it to accept standard NA-style blades, incl. the 26" ones.

Lordco sells them.

Update - FWIW I found the packaging for that part:

"Wiper Blade Clip Kit" Part # 21-1199-2, UPC code # 0-20637-10003-4

Remove the old clip, drill a single hole in the new adaptor to line up with the second hole on the Delica stalk, insert a standard side-pin-retaining wiper blade, and voila!

I secure it down with a tie-wrap too, just because I'm paranoid (on a previous vehicle I had a wiper blade come unclipped under the stress of heavy snow going down the #1 Hwy at night. Not fun.)

If you happen to visit Russia you can buy Masuma adapters specifically for a Delica. $1.60 (US) each.

Hey Tony, I bought that part from CT but it didn't fit as the arms on my Van are 3/8 wide whereas these adapters are approx 5/16". Has my van got non-standard arms? Would like to hear from others.
I also e-mailed these guys ...

...asking about the Matsumo part pictured in above post. I'll let you all know what sort of reply I get.

got my 26" replacements at Walmart pretty sure (or Crappy Tire)...... hookup did not jive as previously mentioned.......... rubber insert hooked up the same though..... sorry no time for pics.... take a look though, rubber held in by two metal strips, just pinch and remove re/re less than 3 min for the first, should be <45 sec for second.... will add some pics when I replace them next time if someone else does not.......

CC auto helped me out. Purchased the adapter and the wipers from them. I had them mail to Osoyoos while I was on holiday this past summer. A little pricey though.

It took Mardy's mechanic less than a minute per wiper to replace the blades taken from the aftermarket wipers; $20 for a pair. I do not understand why people make such a big deal of this.

Hi Serigy,
I did replace just the rubber inserts in Oct. Bought them from an auto parts place in the US cuz I couldn't find long enough ones at the usual nearby locations (Lordco, CTire etc). If I knew of a place close to home (ie: not Richmond), that would be OK too but the reason I'd like proper adapters is so I can choose from a wider variety of blade types - silicon etc. If I can't get suitable adapters I'll try Mall-Wart for more inserts next time.
Cheers!

No problem Tim, HERE is the one closest to your place but if you are looking for a variety than you need adapters. :M

Serigy, the ones in 1st pic are exactly what I bought at C/T but the channel is too narrow for my arms (I'll be returning). But where did you find that other one; the last photo? That's exactly the type I'm looking for.

These pictures were taken from the same thread on delicaclub.ru. My goal was to expose the other Delica owners experience. Sorry, I have no idea where to get these adapters; Russians have tons of local OEM and aftermarket parts sources for any vehicle from any part of the world.

Hi,

After 15 minutes of messin around with the adapters, I ended up just grinding off the edges of the arms a bit in order to acccomidate the wiper sleeve. I thought I was going bonkers, but I guess this is a common issue.
