I was wondering if anybody has installed a 2 Din 7inch screen stereo in their deli? I have been looking online at a few and wanted to know if anyone has had any luck or suggestions. There are lots for about $150us out of China.
any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks

Yup.
Software glitches, Was supposed to work with back up cam but doesn't. There is a workaround tho'. Lately having poor reception issues but might be an antenna problem. Haven't had time to check it out yet. Plays DVDs fine, works fine with SD cards and USB, Bluetooth works ok but could use a better mic, radio sounds fine. I would buy it again if I had to.

Whatever you decide to put into your dash there are a couple of things to remember: the wiring colours are not the same as North American vehicles, and there is a difference between "Power," "Accessory," and "Antenna" - if you get them wrong your dash lights, horn and clock will be wonky (in an L300, but it might have the same fault symptoms in an L400 as well).
Doubly so if your DRL module has been installed incorrectly, as well. This is usually the other after-market item that wreaks havoc with the electrics and the radio.

Hi,
I am shopping for a sterio deck, is the mount bracket for the deck the same as a montero?

Mine did not need a mounting bracket - everything came included and fit my Deli as a 7" stereo. Had to remove the old bracket with the original stereo.

IC,
Thanks for the reply, so it was easy? any old sterio shop should have no prob doing this for me.

Any good stereo shop should be able to do it. The one I used unfortunately destroyed my bezel by trying to remove it incorrectly - even after I gave them the directions and cautioned them that it was brittle....
But other than that it works.
The fact that I can run iGo8 on it for navigation software is a big bonus. The fact that my model does not have buttons that light up at night kind of sucks though.
