Hi there,
My husband and I heading up Island next weekend to look at a Delica that we have a deposit on and we were just wondering if anyone else has dealt with Fivestar Auto in Parksville? So far they have been super nice to us, has anyone else purchased from them before?

Hi Sarah,
I bought my '91 Super Exceed from Five Star Auto 2 months ago and have been really happy so far. Glen at Coombs Country Auto (ccauto on this board) does the importing and service for Five Star, and he's been extremely generous with his knowledge on this board and has given me excellent support and after purchase service. I'd have no problem buying from Five Star again. We did look around a few other dealers before purchasing, but we we felt most confidence of the lot in the Five Star/CC Auto crew. Hope this help, feel free to PM any specific questions.

We also bought from Five Star. We checked out some other dealers on the island and we felt most comfortable with Five Star and their partnership with CCauto in Coombs. Glen is a great guy and I have no problem paying a premium for good service and piece of mind.

Welcome, first vehicle purchase a Delica! Lucky you. Wish we knew about Delicas, and RHD JDM's, 20 plus years ago.
Haven't bought from a Dealer, but Glen has been extremely helpful and has saved me plenty of money.
Cheers,
Kev
