I'm not talking about your handling fee. The postal service or courier add fees when you ship across the border. Also you need to add provincial tax like HST (13%) to the overall costs at the border as well.

Yea, I don't ad the HST tax. Hubs ship via USPS International Priority Mail 6 to 10 business day delivery.
$135.00 - hubs ($133.66 CAD)
35.95 shipping ($34.65 CAD)
-------
Total $170.95 USD to me

Buyers end...
estimate 13% HST: $17.37 CAD
estimate 5% GST: $6.68 CAD depends on where you live
estimate PST: 0 to 10% again depends on where you live
estimate CBSA Handling Fee: $8 CAD

and if or not these fees are accessed is hit or miss.

You guys probably know this way better than me.

Some quotes:

via paypal: The most important thing to remember is that a seller does not know if the Canadian buyer will be charged, or how much. In fact, no US Postal person can or will tell a sender of any charges. Just know all items are potentially dutiable and must be paid by the buyer before delivery to you. The amount you pay via PayPal (or other payment source) to the seller DOES NOT INCLUDE any of these charges.

The $135 will be for YiJia Hubs (March 2011). The OEM Mitsubishi Hubs on our next shipment will be $165 (March 2011). Darned USD is taking a hit in China.

Interested in a pair but it automatically adds US shipping to the order, so when you add in Canadian shipping the total is too much.

If you get stuck while in 2wd all you have to do to switch it into 4wd is get our and turn the knobs. If you put it in 4wd as soon as you hit dirt, snow, mud etc, I don't really see the point. There is also debate as to whether it improves the fuel economy slightly.
Live the life you love, love the life you live...

Had: 1991 Mitsubishi Delica L300 SuperExceed, heavily modified (totalled by a drunk driver)
Have: 2011 Acura CSX manual, lightly modified
Want: Mitsubishi Pajero Evo
