Re: Mech. in Victoria?

Over a year later, has this issue been resolved? Is there a good Deli mechanic or two in the Victoria area?

Re: Resale

So what about buying one that is being re-sold then? Is this a good idea if all the work was originally done when it was imported? Or is a warranty worth the extra $$? Some of the ones on Used Vic are pretty cheap!!

Re: Resale

Thanks for the responses. As for my Syncro, it would not have been one that anyone would admire... it was pretty rusty with over 200 000 miles....

I'm in Victoria, and I know the market for good Deli mechanics is limited.

Re: Resale

PS: Right now I'm thinking low roof with sunroof, and fitting a pop top... not as much open space as a true pop-top, but would provide the needed upper bunk. Kinda like this idea: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ursa-min ... -1/621540/

The topic of buying a Deli seems to have been beaten to death, but I (still a prospective buyer) can't find the answer to this: why are there so damn many of these things being resold a couple years after the original purchase? And I am still struggling with the decision. I have seen them up close, ...

Re: 4wd or awd

does the jumpseat get in the way when loading the carseat in? can the jumpseat be removed? does the bench form a better bed than the very lumpy looking captain's chair bed?

thanks Mardy, saw a pic of the jumpseat for the middle bench folded almost flat on the tyeeimports website that made me wonder...i think that the captain's chairs may be better... we definitely want to camp in the delica so we need them to fold flat. the other reason we're buying a Delica is that we...

4wd or awd

there seem to be some delicas listed for sale as AWD and some as 4wd. it is my understanding that 4wd is part time and AWD full time. was the delica made as 4wd and as awd or are they the same thing? if not, is one better than the other? does anyone know if the middle bench seat in the eight seater ...
