You should be able to get an inverter module from princess Auto for about $20 which include the 4 wire flat plug for your trailer hook up. Lordco sell them too but more money in the $30 range.

I have test drove an L400 and the lights keep flashing even when it is in 2wd. I have tried backing it up for a distance and still flashing.
