I was! It didn't matter on Broadway though, everyone including myself were fishtailing everywhere. I got off that road ASAP.

2 days of snow in Nanaimo...seem to have about foot or more very slushy to very icy...Hubs have been locked for two days...mostly in 2wd (locker and tires help) and few moments in 4wd like trying to get up into the driveway....

Just got back from a trip abroad and it was so nice to see the snow and the Delica with new tires.

I leave mine locked a lot this time of year too. My bus came with permanently locked flanges so it's pretty usual. I feel heaps confident motoring in the snow in my bus, but then again our little honda civic holds her own in the ice and snow too.

As you guys all know its more down to tyres than 4x4, I had to recover a Range Rover ambulance in the snow a few years ago because he had road biased tyres on. In northern european countries the have laws in place that require you to run winter tyres, and 2wd vehicles do ok.
