Couple questions:
1)  What product do you guys recommend for lubing a throttle cable?
2)  I was thinking of mimicking what this guy is doing:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksiQIvNIPRw

I prefer to use a lubricant with Teflon in it in these cases where you are unable to remove the cable.
For things like speedometer cables, you can use a lightweight CV grease by taking out the cable and coating it, and then putting it back in the sheath.
