well, started out on a yamaha but after almost 5000k it got a bit rainy
and i accidentally bought a 92 L300 space gear with 2.5 4D56T.
Not too hard to move over to the RHD from the middle, tho my driving style sure has changed.
My first diesel (aside from tractors) so lots of questions, and doing lots of reading on here.
What an awesome community

accidentally bought a Delica.....that implies regret.
But you have obvioulsy realized its a happy result!
Unless you wished you had the L400 which has more room and power than the L300 but that would offend the L300 owners.
Eitehr way welcome to the community!

It all depends on how you drive her. I've blown out a Space Gear with my Starwagon on Highway Ninty-Nine, despite her thirty more cubic centimetres and intercooler. Regarding space, Mr. Space Gear... you can fit a stack of plywood in an L300 (with the gate closed)Big-Bird wrote:accidentally bought a Delica.....that implies regret.

Re: Drivin cross the Canadas
nope, no regrets. just wanted to check one out, maybe buy one next time I dropped into canada....
but I couldn't help myself. the cab over and crystal lite, spinning mid seats, huge canvas like front window view of the Rockies, wild. an L400 I could've talked myself out of given how stacks of plywood make me feel....
nvanadm, I'm in Manitoba now and Ontario afterward. will be thru London area for sure sometime.
pm you when, a meetup would be great if possible...
