1991 L300 Super Exceed rear moon roof access?

Can anyone help me with this? I am trying to remove the headliner/panels so I can access the motor to one of my rear sun roof shades.

It sounds like the motor is working but it must be off track or a chain is broken so that my one shade won't close.

Attached are some photos of what I am working with.
