Cool - great idea.
Here's a couple pics of me (steve) my wife Jen, our summer-shaved Golden Retriever Maggie and "Oreo" (Wife named her, still not too sure about that one)
We've only had the Exceed for about a month now? So don't have too many pictures but these are from this past long weekend camping out in Banff....

If you have one, or get one, be nice to cops that pull you over cause if they are looking for something to nail you with, having another plate on you van is ticketable.

It's ticket-able if you are trying to pass it off as a BC plate: i.e. you have it in a 'more obvious' plate position than the BC plate, if it looks like a BC plate, etc, etc, etc. I've seen plenty of cars in Victoria with European plates bolted to the front and not a BC plate to be seen; or BC plates that have been chopped down to a thin strip of aluminum with only the letters/numbers remaining bolted up in behind the grill (barely visible); or plates in the windshield (which is illegal because the plate is not supposed to be mounted higher than the headlights); you can also not try to repaint the numbers back on to the plate (hence why our BC one looks like it's been run over a bunch of times - oh wait, it was); or obscure your plate behind a bush bar (but that's a story for a different thread); but I'm not going to get into all that...

And how about all the 'joke' plates that people put on the front of their vehicles - that could be ticket-able as well if the officer was in a particularly twisted mood, I suppose: "A bad day fishing is better than..." well, you know the ones.

And now that I see where you are posting from, you might not have to worry at all because you DON'T HAVE front plates, do you? In Alberta? There is a wonderful load of fluff on ICBC's website about why we still 'need' a plate on the front of our vehicles and how it won't really save any money to stop stamping out two of them (it's basically the old "they're already making one plate for us, how much can the second one cost?" argument). And finally, last I heard, British Columbian plates weren't even made in BC - Nova Scotia I believe it was! How ironic is that?

as it is subjective it is the kind of thing a pissed off cop can nail you for that is all I'm saying, I will confirm with the guy that told me that it was illegal (my brother, he is an officer in Saanich).

the flying toaster and i (jen) can be seen gallivanting between east van, revelstoke, the northwest territories, and all points between and around. an identifying mark is the floral arrangement on my rear-view mirror.

check out the deli-ful street i live on in east vancouver! there are four delis within three blocks. deli bliss.

Well, I had to think which Delica to include, but settled for the Mud Monkey because you've all seen the Mystery Machine a million times! (and I don't have any shots of myself with any of my other L300's!)

This is it during one of its cleaner moments (seriously!) doing what it does best - taking me on another adventure:

And here I am in late November, it's another sub-zero morning and the wooden floor wasn't too comfy! Life is good though because a cup of tea is the answer to everything! :-D

Not sure if it's worth to go through the trouble to get nice Japanese plates... as soon as you go off-roading (that's what these Delica are for aren't they?) that's the first thing that gets bent out of shape... 8-)

Kudo for Quebec, Alberta and some more! They don't need front plates!!!
