new brake pad or disc install

Post by thelazybrownfox »

Before you install any new back or front brakes!!!

Scuff up the brake drum or disc to help bed in the new pad. I use a heavy sanding block run over the entire braking surface of the drum or disc. This will ensure a quick and safe break in to your new brakes.

The alternative is finding yourself or your wife pushing the pedal to the floor or brake fade on that long hill down from your favorite fishing lake . Good luck
