Moving to Japan
so, I'm selling all my worldly things over this summer, including my right and left hand drive automobiles, and moving to Japan for 10 months. I'll be teaching the youth about respecting the environment. Anyhow, I'll probably be able to find parts and ship to fellow Delica owners here on the Island for distro, if not, Ill send it all home and then return to sell it.
Right now, I'm thinking Ladders, Bushbars, and racks.
Ideas aren't urgent, as I leave in Sept. but post an Idea of what you would like to see coming this way, so I can get an Idea of what I should be on the lookout for. :D

Great to hear K, you’ll have a awesome time I bet. Definitely keep in touch and I think you’d find some interested parties kicking around here. There sure is a whole other collection of neat accessories for many JDM’s, I for one really like the table options available from Mits for Delica’s.
Cause I think it’ll be a great sell, you should bring a boat load of Delica’s to sell the guys at work before you go!
I have never looked into it, but is LCL much cheaper then FCL?
Cheers;
Kev

I've had the upper rad hose go, closest shop grabbed something at Lordco that was close enough and cut to fit... don't know about the lower one, but the upper one was simple enough.Id like a set of rad hoses.. hav'nt heard anyone ask about em, but it would really suck to be stranded for such a simple thing.

sorry about the delay, been busy.
Thanks Kev, I'll definitely keep you guys posted on what interesting things I find for the deli.
Rad hoses eh? hmm, I wonder if samco makes some nice silicone ones, I also think samco is made in the UK, and they have hoses with nice outlets for aftermarket temp gauges too. I'll keep my eyes peeled, but we should hit up bruce and see if he has access to samco hoses for the deli.

rad hoses
I should have ten sets of upper and lower hoses in stock later this week . Found some similar at Lordco/Napa for the upper but never found suitable cross for the lower so I ordered ten sets from Japan . I have now seen several vans with failed upper hoses but am yet to see a lower fail . But for when the day arrives when one does I will be ready !!!!

Some things suck, other drag.
Hi Chewy,
Wow! Your going to be every one's favourite pen pal in Japan. If you saw a genuine Mitsubishi winch for a Delica in pretty decent shape, I would be stoked. I have the odd space under the mid rail of my bush bar that calls out for something genuine. If you were to find one, I suppose I had better find out how much it will cost because it will probably double after freight. It would look awsome under the swanky fog lights the Bruce the Good brought over for me. ( They are in the shop getting beaded and powder coated, then off the the vinyl boys for coating. ) Yeah... So... Winch. You find one, I'll wire you the funds.

yeah, it is in some cases, although, for insurance reasons unfortunately you cannot destuff yourself as it is a shared container.BCDelica wrote:Great to hear K, you’ll have a awesome time I bet. aside from that, I'm fairly sure that the trip will be a success as far as parts and fun altogether!
can't wait!
