$800 incl. install
I don't think this is just a basic replacement what andre66 is looking for. Nice though and powerful (2,5") 8-)

Hey,
Glen and his Ninjas up at CC Auto in Coombs were doing new stock ones for under 300 I think.

250-954-2157 is CC Auto.

That is on the island though.

Right on! 8-)

Some nights I do dream of the stainless ones.....$$$$

I recently saw on Pedro's Delica, he merely went to Canadian Tire and got the replacement parts from the open shelves (beside the mirror air fresheners and other essentials) and he hacksawed and bolted on the bits, I think his total was about $60.00, looked fine.

it was a side exit strait pipe , and frankly it was too loud for my taste, so I got a magnaflow to replace the strat pipe and it is a hole lot better now.

Basically, you have to cut the original pipe just before the first flange , get a 2inch to 2 1/2 inch adaptor , a muffler ,a 90 degree elbow, 3 clamps and a muffler clamp/suspender( I dont know the real name!!)!!!

parts: muffler( 4inch diametre by 20 inch long( stainless)) 84$ plus tax(lordco)
pipe adaptor : 5 $
90 degree elbow: 9$
3 clamps: 11 $
muffler clamp/suspender : 10$

total :-/+ 125$

Result : not fancy or good looking, but fit my budget these days and it work fine for now, and now I can hear the turbo spooling up real good too :-D

hello I just had mine done at quiet muffler on broadway in burnaby. stainless steel went out the side with it and got the 2.5 inch pipe. All said and done just under 300$ took about 45 min and the van runs way way way better. I am blown away by how much better it runs.

Had mine done 3 weeks ago at White Rock Muffler down on the beach. 2-1/2" side exit with Magnaflow muffler. $330 installed including taxes and is quiet except for more turbo whine. They did a really clean job with a slash cut right at the edge of the wheel well. They would've been less expensive if I didn't choose the Magnaflow - personal choice.

They were going to go right to the back with the cheaper muffler and it was going to be less than 300 bucks.

I go to them when I can't do something myself - they're awesome people.

I will have to replace my muffler and tailpipe as well. Is it true that diesel engine's don't need a muffler? Just have a tail pipe from start to finish. The link below says it is better for the engine to go without.

Has anyone done this, but I was wondering if it increases how loud the deli will run?

Hi, I had my van strait pipe for almost 2 weeks, and it make a big difference. Very loud under load or if you go along anything that deflect sound back toward you ! I guess some do like it loud, and some dont!! if you want to know for yourself, just disconnect the muffler at the first flange and go for a short ride and you will know if you like it or not. pedro
