is there actually a seatbelt on the 8th seat? I haven't been able to see one in any pics.

I'm pretty sure you're referring to the foldable jump-seat for which there is NO seat-belt. I've seen a wreck that hit a pole dead centre - hard; the jump seat was opened and bent forward in a way that had there been anyone sitting in it they would have been launched through the two front seats and out through the windshield :o Nasty stuff. I like that little jump seat when folded for a sleeping dog to rest his chin, for an arm-rest for a human passenger, or folded out, for a quick lunch break seat, or as part of a fold down bed arrangement. Never for human seating while travelling though... Scary monsters :M

since the 8th seat has not belt I think it is misleading for people to constantly be advertising them as seating 8, I can take all the seats out of my van and put 12 or so milking stools in the back, doesn't make it a 14 seater van does it?

nothing against Mardy or anyone in particular, everyone does it but that doesn't make it ok.

Hi, yes, i would agree with you but i always say to customer when they call or look at the car i say its not good for 8 seater as the last seat dont have original seatbelt. its just confusing if we put 7 passenger & its not a captain chair. people usaully know when we say design for 8 passenger it has diff.seat arrangement than original 7 pass. that has capstain chair.
thank you very much for for letting me know really appreciate it.
hope this clarfiy to other people or client who are interested in this units.
cheers;
Again , thank you
Mardy

If I do buy one like this...which i really want....I like the "8" seat option for the fact that they all can be folded down to make a bed to crash on...that is the other factor for me buying a delica like this one...:)

Now that I have the cash to buy, have you anything similar to this coming in?
I am after the 7 seater though. Luggage rack and ladder preferred.Also tinted windows.
Please drop me a line.
Thanks
James
