"Head out to the hwy. All the rhd vehicles are in the left lane. I have driven many rhd's, you can't see to pass in the proper lane.
The cheap prices do seem to be the driving force behind the rising sales of these vehicles. This causes a lot of service issues. Despite rantings to the contrary the cars are here because they are too expensive to bring up to japans "shaken"(warrant of fitness for road use) standard. It's cheaper and carries more status to buy a new car than bring an old one up to standard. Stating that there is no age restriction on vehicles in japan is true, its just that nobody fixes the old cars. They send them over here. You don't see a flood of rhd cars from anywhere else .... do you?"
i realize this guy may be a "troll", with some contentious assertions, but do any owners out there care to comment on this stuff?
