Weak air condtioner airflow

Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

Weak air condtioner airflow

Post by Movendi »

I'm not sure if this is a typical thing among all space gears or it's just on mine but i feel that on max power AC that the air blowing out is very weak and can't feel it hitting my face or body. The air is pretty cold but the power is too weak that i still end up sweaty while i'm driving. Just wondering what could be the problem and fix to it?

Do you have manual fan control (Exceed) or auto-climate control? (higher trim level)

Basically, can you tell if the fan is actually blowing faster if you (ir the control module) try to dial up the speed? Perhaps the contacts past the lowest setting are duff.

On mine, Fan level 1 is pretty mild, but 4 is pretty hurricane-like. (I have the manual fan speed setting on my Exceed)

And I'm just going to ask the obvious question: are the little vent openings set to three-wavy lines or the X?

If you have climate control, and it's on Auto, it takes a moment to spin-up to full power (if it's hot inside), but that will only happen if your temperature probe is correct.
