Post by Firesong »

If anyone is in the neighborhood and wants to install their hubs
at the same time, Im going to do mine probably around 2 pmish.
I have the garage and tools, should be fun.

I went ahead and had a look at mine, figured what the heck.
Total job time was under an hour easy.
Hardest part was putting that darn C clip back in the groove :)
Looks good.
It's easy.
Don't be intimidated by this job, you can do it in the driveway easy.
To take the outer ring off (cap of auto) I used big pipe wrench.

I highly recommend the right pliers for the clip. It is just so much easier and saves you quite bit of time and swearing :-D

I ended up simply using two flat blade screwdrivers.
It came off easy, putting it back on took a little more time.
It's certainly doable with out the right pliers, just takes
a bit of calm :)
