Rising Sun Auto Import is offering a free delivery service to Calgary for Delica customers from Alberta.
The special offer is valid until May 1st, 2011.

Procedures

1. Choose one of our stock or in transit vehicles with $1,000 fully refundable deposit.
2. Designate an inspection facility for pre-purchase inspection at a shop nearby our location on your expense
(You’ll need an honest opinion on the vehicle from a third party since you can’t see the vehicle in person, and this is strongly recommended).
3. When you make a final decision to purchase, $1,000 deposit will be put into partial payment towards the purchase.
4. We will deliver the vehicle to Calgary International Airport to meet you. The rest of the payment can be made by a money-order or a certified cheque plus 5% GST.

Just wondering...of that $1000 deposit what percentage goes towards the purchase of the vehicle?
It would be nice to have that laid out in case anyone is under the impression that the percentage changes depending on your location.
eg) 10% goes towards the purchase if you live in Calgary whereas 90% goes towards it if you pick it up yourself...

I'd by no means accusing you of doing this I just think that it would give some more credibility to the "Free Delivery" promise.

100% of the deposit goes towards the purchase.

If the selling price is $9,000, the customer will pay $8,000 plus $450 (5% GST) when we meet up at the airport since $1,000 has been already paid.

The location of the customers would not matter as the ownership transfer will take place at the airport only so I can just fly back to Vancouver.
